A KnUW Way of GA LLC is an intentionally multicultural experiential homeschool cooperative located in Savannah Georgia which provides academic, social, and educational experiences and support for the homeschooling community.
Founded in 2017 by Cory and Leza Chandler, A KnUW Way was their answer to the lack of diversity seen in many homeschooling programs in the area.
We believe the best way to heal our nation from racial insensitivity is to get to know each other on personal and meaningful levels. To that end, our cooperative seeks to support families (especially those parenting Black and Brown children) in their transition to homeschooling, and provide opportunities for positive interaction between all races.
We welcome you to join us as we create a safe space where honest multicultural relationships for ourselves and our children can be formed.
Following in the footsteps of our traditional African ancestors, we believe experience is the best teacher and parents are the best guide. We accept that no one can force our children (or us) to learn anything we don't want to learn. But we can create opportunities in which our children want to learn through apprenticeship and adventure. That is the goal of our experiential homeschooling cooperative.
We use real life experiences that are relevant and practical to introduce and teach the academic, social, and life skills our children need to take our place. Our organized experiences, Learning Communities, and Farming Cooperative prepare our children to live without us instead of being lost without us. We believe learning is a completely personal and internal process, what you (or your children) choose to learn is completely up to you. We can however create a safe space for that self-directed learning process to flourish!

One of the biggest stressors to home study programs stems from the practice of placing "education" above experience. Our learning method is inspired by ancient Africans who used a simple yet effective method to prepare our children to take our place. Are you ready love living and learning with your children again?
